A new Neuro-Rehabilitation facility at Radcliffe Primary Care Centre in Bury is set to transform patient care across the local community.

Funded through community support and driven by the centre’s Patient Group alongside Bury Care Organisation and Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust, the adaptable physiotherapy room is now fully operational.
The facility features the area’s only Guldmann GH3+ Trainer Unit, complete with specialist hoists and slings designed to support rehabilitation exercises, physiotherapy and patient mobility.
The new equipment will also enable local care teams to weigh patients who are unable to use traditional scales, reducing the need for hospital visits.
Following installation, staff from Bury Community Stroke and Neurological Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy teams recently completed training and hand-over of equipment from Simply Moving and Sleeping, ahead of the facility’s official opening on 20 May.
