Do you need some help to identify all your costs and possible funding sources ?
Do you like the idea of a ready -made crowdfunding platform to help promote what you are doing, and encourage local people to become involved ?
If you answer yes to any of these, then why not join us for at one of two ‘Get Your Idea Going’ support sessions. You can find out about civic crowdfunding and/or get half an hour dedicated support and advice on your project. Like the idea? Then scan one of the QR codes on the attached leaflet and book your slot.
The first session is next Thursday 24th September 4-7pm in Cleckheaton Library, and the second on Monday 28th September 4-7pm in Dewsbury Library hub. The first hour 4-5pm is for those who don’t know about civic crowdfunding or how the overall programme works. Just come along and say hi, and we will explain.
From 5pm we are offering half hour slots that each ‘project creator’ i.e. you, can book to get focussed advice and support on your project idea. You might be unsure about eligibility or which pot/s of funding to pitch to. You might need help with starting a crowdfunding campaign online – the practicalities of how and what to fill in where. You might want to ask about permissions and/or licences or all the above. We’ll be there to help you, and support what you want to do.

In this Round, we have a ‘new’ Public Health related pot of funding to pitch to. Martin Gonzalez and Ani Kumar from our Public Health team will be available at the 24th & 28th Sept advice sessions to talk through any questions you have about what would make a successful pitch to the public health pot.
