Back to School – Loan Offer
This can be for anyone – individuals as well as families.

With funding from the West Yorkshire Mayor’s ‘Cost of Living Fund’, we are proud to partner with Tracey Brabin’s office to share our Back to School Loan offer, designed to support individuals and families with limited access to affordable credit.

The offer includes a £250 loan and a £50 savings incentive, with £10 paid at the start and £40 on completion, helping individuals cover essential school costs and more while building financial stability.

Who it’s for:
• Individuals with low credit scores
• New and existing BDCU members – previous Back to School Loans must be fully repaid

Go Active Events in the Summer Holidays
Go Active! is back this summer with four community events planned in July and August. There will be free activities, advice and information to help you get more active by walking, wheeling and cycling, for health, travel and leisure.
The first event will be held on 18th July at Leeds Road Playing Fields, Huddersfield (by the track).
Go Active Day at Leeds Road Playing Fields – Kirklees Together
Activities include e-bike trial rides, nature walks along the newly upgraded Broad Canal, children’s balance and pedal bikes, pedal powered games, along with advice and info on accessible cycles, health and wellness.
