Grant an RSPCA animal’s Christmas wish this December

The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District Branch are hoping to grant the Christmas wishes of the many animals in their care this December, with the help of their local community.

Whilst they also take on their biggest project to date – The Really Big ReFURb – a £4million project to completely rebuild their Centre from the ground up!

RSPCA Christmas Wish Appeal

The self-funded Animal Centre (which rehomes cats, dogs and smalls animals) hopes to raise vital funds to cover veterinary, training, and shelter costs, making it possible for them to find homes for the many abandoned, abused and unwanted pets in their care over the Christmas period.

Along with helping to fund their much needed new Animal Centre, after their 45 year old kennels no longer met modern-welfare standards, leaving them with no option but to rebuild.

Dottie the bulldog is waiting for her wish to be granted, along with Kobie the cat! Both featured below.

Fay Gibbons, Digital Fundraiser, says “Our Christmas Wish Appeal is a special opportunity to grant an animal’s wish of finding a loving home this December. We have lots of cats, dogs, ferrets and other small animals in our care who will sadly have to spend the festive season in shelter. However, with the support of our local community we’re hoping that we can raise the funds needed to support their care, veterinary treatment and more. This is also a unique opportunity to help us finish our Really Big ReFURb, so every donation will not only help the animals now but the many more who will rely on our Centre for decades to come!”

“The RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford and District Branch are a self-funding branch of the National RSPCA, responsible for raising money locally to support our animal welfare work. Our main aim is to rehabilitate unwanted, abandoned and abused animals and find them loving, permanent homes. We rely on public donations and the generosity of our local community to keep the doors of our animal centre open.”
