Celebrating the 175th anniversary of the first section of the Line between Penistone and Huddersfield which opened on 1st July 1850, we will view the displays on Denby Dale station before taking our route along public footpaths across fields and country lanes to our finish at the Station Inn next to Silkstone Common station.
Start: 9.40am at DENBY DALE station. Finish: SILKSTONE COMMON.

RAIL REPLACEMENT BUS SERVICE: Huddersfield to & from Lockwood
The TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) will continue during 2025. There could be periods when Huddersfield station will be completely closed to all services. During these periods, a rail replacement bus service will depart from Huddersfield to connect with the Penistone Line train at Lockwood station.
