Lepton

Lepton can be found on Wakefield Road out of Huddersfield that leads through Lepton and on to Grange Moor and the Coal Mining Museum.

It has a village centre where you find a selection of shops and takeaways, and an array of other business dotted about.

The village has both football and cricket clubs at Lepton Highlanders Sports & Social Club.  You will also find Rowley Hill Club in Lepton, which was formed in 1880 and evolved over the years to become a Community Social Club.

The schools in Lepton are Rowley Lane Junior, Infants and Nursery School and Lepton Church of England School, and the church is St John’s.
