Welcome Centre Van Broken Down

The Welcome Centre’s van has broken down – But they can’t stop delivering support

The Welcome Centre makes sure no one in Huddersfield goes hungry, but now they need your help!

Welcome Centre Van Appeal

Their van, which helps them reach thousands of people in crisis, has had to be scrapped. Without it, they’re struggling to:

• Collect donated food and surplus stock from supermarkets and suppliers for redistribution

• Deliver food packs to people who can’t get to the Welcome Centre including those with disabilities, long-term illness, or no transport

Last year, the Welcome centre delivered 5,415 food packs to people who had no other way to access support.

A new van will help the Welcome Centre get back on the road collecting donations and delivering essentials straight to the doors of those who need it most.

Will you help the Welcome Centre replace their van?

Charlie, the fundraising manager at the Welcome Centre says “Every donation, share, or fundraiser brings us closer to reaching our goal. Together, we’ve built a lifeline. Now we need your help to keep it moving”.

Please help the Welcome Centre look after those most in need in society.
