GRANGE MOOR 2025 VILLAGE FUND RAISER proud to support forget me not children's hospice

Over 5 days in June 2025 residents and businesses in Grange Moor came together to raise an amazing £3,052.95 for The Forget me Not Children’s Hospice

GRANGE MOOR 2025 VILLAGE FUND RAISER

Linzi’s Little Gems, Streakers (Hairdressers) together with J Wright & Son Ltd (Garage), Grange Moor Primary School all held fund raising events whilst the Ladies Dog Walking Group collected from their Members towards the fund-raising effort. Thanks to all of them for helping us this raise this fabulous amount

The Village Fund Raiser concluded on Sunday afternoon, 8 June with The Grange Moor Community Association holding a charity concert in St Bartholomew’s Church Hall, with local singing duo Key Of G providing the music, for which they were really pleased to be in front of a “home crowd”. The charity concert, with food and drink served, and a raffle raised £955 on the day, and a great time was had all present

This turned out to be a fantastic village effort, bringing people together and having a good time with other residents s and raising lots of money in the at the same time

A feature of this Fund-Raising Concert was that EVERYTHING was donated, cake, food and drink and raffle prizes as well as our local Key of G providing their performance at no charge, for which we thank them. Thanks to everyone who has supported us in this. This allowed us to pass every £1 we received onto the charity without any deductions

The Community Association want to thank everyone involved in the fund-raising activities and are over the moon at the amount of money raised, which has far exceeded our hopes and expectations

WELL DONE TO EVERYONE IN THE VILLAGE WHO HAVE HAS HELPED TO ACHIEVE THIS FANTASTIC AMOUNT OF MONEY
