The much-anticipated Nortonthorpe Summer Fun Day is just around the corner, promising a fantastic day of community, laughter, and plenty of treats — including homemade scones and delicious cakes (whether baked by you or bought, we’re happy either way!).
To make the day a smashing success, the organisers are calling out for volunteers to help keep the fun flowing smoothly.
If you have a flair for creativity, there are half-hour slots available for hair colouring, nail painting, and adding a bit of sparkle with glitter while the Stage Door Group performs. It’s a great chance to get involved and add some extra magic to the event!
There’s also a need for friendly faces to simply say, “I’m here to help!”
Volunteers will assist by taking card payments, handling change for the outside bar, fetching more ice from the fridge, replenishing cans of pop at the outdoor bar, and generally ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
Plus, keeping the outside area clean and tidy will help create a welcoming environment for all attendees.
Whether you’re looking to showcase your baking skills, lend a helping hand behind the scenes, or simply be part of the team keeping the event on track, your support is invaluable.
