Just in time for Year 10 progress tests and Year 11 mock exams, mdLEARNING has confirmed its full line-up of science tutoring sessions for the coming months. With options designed to build confidence, improve exam technique and get revision started early, there’s something to support every learner.
Based in a cosy little office in Clayton West, mdLEARNING is proud to be part of the local community. Many students come from Shelley College, and all sessions follow the AQA specification used at the school, ensuring everything covered is directly relevant to what students are learning in class.
Purely Practice sessions take place on Monday evenings and are ideal for helping students become familiar with real exam questions while developing strong revision habits. Each week, learners tackle carefully selected questions, either live or via the recording, making it easy to fit around busy schedules.
At just £10 per learner, these sessions offer exceptional value — and every participant also receives a revision one-pager to take the stress out of planning what to revise.
On Wednesdays, small group sessions (maximum six students per group) provide focused teaching tailored to the students in the room.
- 4:15pm – Year 10 Strong Start (Paper 1 focus – perfect for Year 10 or Year 11 recap)
- 5:30pm – Year 11Exam Edge (Paper 2 focus – ideal for Year 11 students)
For students needing a more personalised approach, 1:1 tutoring is also available.
Current availability is limited (although still worth getting in touch as things change constantly!), but additional slots typically open up in the run-up to the summer exams to ensure every student who needs support can access it.
