
We’ve been asked to share a new job vacancy at The Welcome Centre, a fantastic local charity making a real difference in the community.
The Welcome Centre is one of the UK’s largest independent food bank charities, providing practical support to people and families in crisis — including food, toiletries, essential items, and tailored one-to-one advice and guidance to help them through difficult times. Last year alone, they provided hundreds of thousands of meals and vital support services to people in need in Huddersfield and beyond.
Current Vacancy: Advice, Guidance & Support (AGS) Caseworker

This role is central to the charity’s mission, working directly with individuals and families experiencing crisis.
You’ll provide person-centred support, help clients tackle immediate challenges, and assist them in accessing the services and guidance they need to improve their circumstances.
Role Details
Position: Advice, Guidance & Support (AGS) Caseworker

Location: Central Huddersfield
Contract: Permanent (subject to funding), part-time (22.5 hrs/week)
Salary: £26,228–£31,483 pro-rata (depending on experience)
Closing date: Sunday 4th January 2026
Interviews: Week commencing 12th January 2026
