We’re thrilled to announce that Otley Carnival has just signed up, creating an Otley Area Page on Work Rest or Play! So it seemed like the perfect moment to tidy up and expand our Area Pages — and make it easier for more local communities to get noticed.
Looking through our Events Calendar, we’ve now added Area Pages for
- Dodworth, Brockholes, and Chapeltown,
Thanks to the Penistone Line Partnership for adding their Guided Walks and other events.
We’ve also updated
Reflecting the growth in those areas since our rebrand.
And we’re just getting started!

We’re looking for local events, community groups, charities and businesses to make these pages vibrant and useful.

It only takes minutes for us to create an Area Page, but we want to make sure each page reflects the local area accurately — so no empty or irrelevant listings.
Special Incentives:
- The first five contributors who sign up and help bring an Area Page to life will receive a credit note toward Year Two of their listing.
- Mention the name of the person who encouraged you when signing up, and we’ll say thank you with a drink on us or a charitable donation to an organisation of your choice.
