After the incredible success of The Really Big Walkies in Halifax at Shibden Park, RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford are excited to announce… it’s BACK! 🐶🎉 This time, they are branching out to Huddersfield for a special sponsored walk at the iconic Castle Hill!
Join RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield & Bradford on Sunday 29th March 2026 for a fun-filled walk with our four-legged friends while raising vital funds for their Really Big ReFURb.

This exciting project will transform their much-loved but tired animal centre into a beautiful, modern space for rescue animals for years to come.
For just £5 per entry, you and your pup will receive:
🐾 A goody bag
🏅 A shiny rosette
💛 The knowledge that you are helping local animals in need
The walk will take place at Castle Hill, Huddersfield, a stunning local landmark and the perfect setting for wagging tails and scenic views.

There are two route options: a shorter accessible loop from the top car park, ideal for limited mobility or pushchairs. Or a longer walk of around 2 miles for dogs of all ages and abilities to enjoy. (The longer route includes a short uphill climb).
Event details:
Location: Castle Hill, Huddersfield
Date: Sunday 29th March 2026 – 11:00am
Entry: £5 per person, includes goody bag and rosette
