Nigel Hoyle and the team behind the amazing ArtattheHouse weekend are excited about this year’s return to Cliffe House, Shepley, on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 September 2025. Marking the seventh year as one of Shepley’s most popular annual community events.
The multi-arts weekend has firmly established itself in the local calendar, offering residents and visitors a chance to explore creativity, performance, and the beauty of the Cliffe House grounds.
This year’s event is set to be the most ambitious to date.

The woodland area will play a central role, as The Northern Potters transform it into their creative base for the weekend.
The programme also includes an expanded range of interactive workshops and demonstrations, featuring crafts, textiles, pottery throwing, Raku glazing and firing, stone carving, and falconry.
A booking system will be available on ArtattheHouse’s website to allow visitors to reserve workshop spaces in advance.
As in previous years, ArtattheHouse25 will showcase a diverse line-up of artists, live performers, poets, installations, and sculptures, encouraging exploration and discovery throughout the grounds. The event is designed to give the public an opportunity to “Meet, Try, and Buy” while enjoying the natural surroundings of Shepley.

The organisers hope the 2025 edition will build on the strong reputation already established, continuing to grow as a creative, interactive, and community-driven celebration.
