Tucked away in a quiet corner of Thornes Park, just behind the stadium and skate park, lies the enchanting Secret Garden. Lovingly restored by the Friends of CHaT Parks, this hidden gem has been brought back to life with care and dedication.
The Friends have revitalised the lake, reinstated historic masonry from the archives, and added a welcoming bench for visitors to sit and soak in the serenity.
Wander through the vibrant flower beds and you might just spot a dragon, fairy stepping stones, and a dazzling array of colourful blooms. It’s a magical space, perfect for peaceful reflection or a touch of discovery.
