ARE YOU A YOUNG DIGITAL CHAMPION?
Do you want to share your cyber knowledge and experience, inspire and learn from others?
Young DigiChampz is a dynamic, innovative group for those between 13 and 18 years old who want to find out more about information society and the Internet economy. We help you to build new e skills, including website design and development, content management, online advertising, email marketing, and social media. We look at important issues concerning the use of the Internet, including cyber bullying, copyright theft, and how to protect yourself from online risks and threats.
The group supports the development of the Shepley Digital Village website and social media networks. We also help those in the community, both old and young, who are either lonely or feel excluded from the online world, but want to be part of it.
Although you’ll eventually need to be a member of the Shepley Hub to join this group, this first event is free. It is also open to everyone between 13 and 18 years old, not just to those who live in the village.
