Our last Business Breakfast Networking event in April explored the current and changing trends in marketing. Delegate feedback following the event asked for a more in-depth look at Social Media which we are happy to focus on in this upcoming event. Topics covered will include Instagram trends, setting up a business profile, creating an aesthetically pleasing look to match your brand and audience and other social media top tips.

Cameron Deacon from Huddersfield Giants Media and Marketing Team will follow up on his presentation from the April event and add further detail about how Huddersfield Giants create and put social media content together.
Olivia Martin, founder of Whit Communications, has worked with food, fashion, beauty, travel, tech, trade and lifestyle clients from all over the world by helping them improve their social media presence, raise awareness for their brand and increase sales/bookings/enquiries. She has been in the digital marketing industry for 10 years having worked in a bank of cities across Europe including London and Stockholm. This diverse experience has allowed Olivia and her team to offer a range of expertise to ensure they received the desired results.
Bethan Aspland, founder of Pretty In Paper By B, is passionate about being creative and having a positive impact on mental wellbeing. Seven years ago, Bethan was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, four years ago was in a wheelchair, and two years ago was a manager in a gym; today she empowers people to create their own mindful experiences by providing specialised craft kits, educational videos and downloadable activity guides. By sharing her unique story and style on social media, she inspires a global community of over 60,000 people to use arts and crafts as a creative outlet to improve their wellbeing. Having recently starred on Channel 4 TV and was announced as New Business of the Year 2021, she uses her growing public image to have a positive influence on young people, supporting them with their own self-care journeys.
Dr Haseeb Shabbir is a Reader in Marketing and Course Team Leader for Undergraduate Marketing Programmes at Huddersfield Business School. He specialises in ad imagery, inclusive and not for profit marketing and has extensive experience in executive training for both corporate and not profit brands. Dr Shabbir will be sharing his insights on a project he recently did with Fujifilm HOLDINGS
