Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon
Time to lace up those trainers!

The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will see 7,777 participants take on a brand new route through Leeds that starts and finishes at Headingley Stadium. Taking in some of Leeds’ most scenic countryside and outer suburbs, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will be a fitting tribute to the city that launched Rob’s career and which he calls home.
This is an event that truly is for everyone, so whether you are an experienced runner or have never thought about running an event before, we welcome all abilities to join us in 2023 for this very special event.
The event will be held in support of the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal as well as the MND Association. However, the organisers recognise many participants have their own charities they support and therefore we have 10 spaces available in the marathon to support Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice running alongside everyone else taking part.
Minimum age: 18 years

What happens next?
Once registered you will be sent an email to redeem your Leeds Marathon space. You must follow the link and redeem your space within two weeks to have your space confirmed.
What about sponsorship?
We’re asking all our runners to raise £260. When you register, you will receive a confirmation email it will include a link to our sponsorship form. You could ask 10 people to sponsor £1 for each mile you run or just ask all your friends and family to support you however they can.
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable clothing. Most importantly, make sure you have some sensible footwear. We will send you a Forget Me Not vest closer to the run.
