About

On sunny Sunday August afternoons we intend to meet at the Park by Kaye’s school to chat about the possibility of building a community hub in Clayton West.

For the past 8 months a dedicated growing group of individuals have been meeting on Zoom, progressing plans, exploring funding opportunities and promotion.

To make this project possible we need the community behind the idea, to get involved and be part of it.

So between 2-4pm we are inviting the community to come and have a picnic on the green in the centre of the village, near to the Baptist Chapel site.

This is intended to be a relaxed event and welcome you to bring your families and even (well behaved) dogs.

Due to the unpredictable weather conditions of our wonderful country we can only aim to do this on sunny Sundays.

Please bring anything you might expect to need, and please make sure you help us leave no trace afterwards.

Please also be considerate to neighbouring residents, parking is limited around the centre of the village.  Think too about the environment by walking, cycling etc.

If you have any lawn games, or other ways to entertain people please feel free to bring them along.

If you are interested in also joining a more formal ‘committee’ meeting, please complete this form and we can send Zoom link details.
