Celebrate the season with an afternoon of festive favourites and uplifting big band arrangements, from joyful classics to heart-warming carols. Enjoy an unforgettable afternoon of live music to mark the most magical time of the year.

Calderdale Big Band are a Halifax based big band who play a range of swing, jazz, and contemporary compositions. The band bring a touch of class to events and get everyone’s feet tapping.

They perform the Big Band sounds of Glenn Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Stan Kenton, Ted Heath and more, through the 1930s, 40s, 50s through to the present day. Our extensive repertoire includes jazz standards, R’n’B, charleston, rock and roll, latin, dance and contemporary music.
