Come and take your pick from hundreds of plants and seedlings at Growing Newsome’s popular annual plant swap – great for food growers and gardening friends.
You can choose from Vegetables, Salads, Herbs, Fruit and Wildlife-friendly flowers grown by our volunteers, and plants brought in on the day by people in our community.
You’re very welcome to bring along plants, seedlings, cuttings or seeds to swap – but you don’t need to bring something to take something. You can also choose some plants in exchange for a donation to Growing Newsome.
Our event also includes stalls from local organisations, including local food on sale, and children’s activities. Refreshments are available throughout the event, and we’re serving a two-course lunch at 12 noon. We hope you can join us.
Can you help?
We welcome donations of small plant pots ahead of this event. We’re also looking for more volunteer bakers. Please see the Growing Newsome website for more information. Organisations are also welcome to get in touch to request a stall.
