Unity Leeds CIC

Unity Leeds CIC is a community-led social enterprise based in Leeds, established in December 2024 to support connection, creativity and cohesion across our neighbourhoods. As a Community Interest Company (CIC), it exists to benefit the wider community rather than private owners — and is run entirely by volunteers.

Growing out of the long-standing legacy of Hyde Park Unity Day, a much-loved free festival that began in the mid-1990s in LS6, Unity Leeds CIC carries forward the spirit of bringing people together in positive, inclusive and celebratory ways.

While Unity Day remains at the heart of its work, the CIC aims to build activity year-round — including community events, workshops, creative projects and collaborative initiatives that reflect the needs and diversity of Hyde Park and surrounding areas.
