Looking for a fun, free family day out? Come along to Go Active on Saturday 18 July, from 10:30am–3:00pm at KAL Leeds Road Playing Fields.
There’s something for all ages, whether you want to get active, try something new, or simply enjoy the outdoors.
Here’s what’s happening:
• 🚲 Little Bikers will be with us all day, helping children build confidence and develop their cycling skills. *
• 🌿 Join Gilly, our expert ecologist, for a guided nature walk at 11:00am or 1:00pm and discover the wildlife around the park. *
• ⚡ E-bike test rides – if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to ride an electric bike, now’s your chance to give one a go! *
• 🔧 Dr Bike will be offering free bike safety checks and minor repairs from our expert mechanic. *
• 🚔 The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be on hand to register your bike and offer crime prevention advice.
• 🎵 Everybody’s Cycling will be bringing plenty of fun with their Music Maker bike, velodrome game and other interactive activities.
Everything is completely free, so bring your family, friends and bikes for a fantastic day of activities.
