JOIN US IN MAY TO CELEBRATE OUR 20TH ANNIVERSARY!
We’re so excited to be celebrating a special milestone this year.
HuddLitFest was founded in 2006 and we’ve come a long way since then. Join us this year from 6-17 May 2026 for a fabulous anniversary programme.
This milestone programme brings major national names to Huddersfield, including Lemn Sissay, Joanne Harris, Ardal O’Hanlon, Simon Armitage, Val McDermid, Vince Cable and Sunny Ormonde (Lilian Bellamy from The Archers).
Alongside headline talks, the festival features creative workshops, writing competitions and a vibrant children’s programme inspired by Winnie-the-Pooh, Spider-Man and The Gruffalo.
Taking place across Huddersfield town centre and surrounding venues, HuddLitFest brings thousands of visitors into the area each year.
