Scheme to Strengthen Support for Vulnerable Children and Families Across Kirklees

Fresh Futures is proud to announce the launch of its new Friends of Fresh Futures scheme, inviting local businesses to play a direct role in supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people and their families across Kirklees.

The initiative enables companies to contribute a monthly donation of between £10 and £50, with every penny going directly towards Fresh Futures’ life‑changing work.

The scheme provides businesses with a easy yet meaningful way to make a positive and lasting difference in their community.

A Simple Way for Businesses to Make a Big Impact

For over 50 years, Fresh Futures has supported families facing challenges such as poverty, social isolation, and limited opportunities. Through a wide range of early intervention and wellbeing services, the charity helps children and young people build resilience, confidence and brighter futures.

By becoming a Friend of Fresh Futures, businesses will help sustain and grow these vital services while demonstrating their commitment to social responsibility and community wellbeing.

Katie Shephard, Head of Income and Engagement at Fresh Futures, said:

“We are thrilled to launch the Friends of Fresh Futures scheme. This is a wonderful opportunity for local businesses to stand alongside us as we support vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people and families across Kirklees. Even small, regular contributions can have a huge impact. We are incredibly grateful to every business that chooses to become a Friend of Fresh Futures and help create brighter futures in our communities.”

A Call to the Local Business Community

Fresh Futures is inviting organisations of all sizes to join the scheme and help ensure families receive the support they need, when they need it most.

Businesses who join will receive a digital supporter badge, recognition on Fresh Futures’ website and social media, and regular updates about the impact of their contribution.
