About the Charity
The Welcome Centre is a food bank and much more operating in Huddersfield, who have partnered with us and used our platform since 2018.
Working with us to strengthen their connection with the local community and increase awareness of The Welcome Centre’s vital services.
Challenges & Goals
When Charlie stepped into the Fundraising Manager role in 2024, a key priority was to build stronger community awareness.
It became clear that increasing visibility was essential – not only to reach individuals and families who may need support, but also to engage those who are in a position to contribute to the charity’s work.
Why Work, Rest or Play
Continuing the existing relationship with Work, Rest or Play was an important decision. The platform’s strong online presence and established community reach provide an effective space to showcase the charity’s work, highlight its impact and connect with local audiences in a meaningful way.
