About

Our regular weekly work parties on Wednesday mornings (10am-1pm) are open to adults of all ages – you’ll experience a variety of tasks, helping to spruce up riverside paths and create healthier habitats for nature.

During these three hour sessions our volunteers help keep paths open, gateways attractive and manage wildlife areas.

You’ll likely see a bit of wildlife (sometimes a lot!), stop mid-way through the session for a hot drink and a snack and go away with a real sense of achievement.

We will provide tools, equipment and refreshments!

All you need to bring are old clothes and stout footwear.

EPIKS will reimburse public transport travel costs if this is a limiting factor.

Each sessions is in a different location, but all are within Huddersfield area.
