Everyone is welcome to join in Growing Newsome’s popular annual Seed Swap and Potato Day on Saturday 7th March from 10am to 1pm at Newsome Scout Hall.
You can get your food growing year off to a great start with us. Choose from 25 different varieties of seed potato (including many organic varieties), plus lots of vegetable seeds. You can bring something along to swap, if you’d like.
There are also stalls from local organisations, plus children’s activities, food growing advice, local food on sale, books, homemade refreshments and a hot lunch served at 12 noon.
