January 26th – How to Draw Trees, Easily!

Where: Live Stream on YouTube – https://www.youtube.com/@SuMelvilleArt

When: Monday 26th January, 7pm (UK time)

In this workshop, you’ll learn a simple, structured way to draw trees that look convincing without getting lost in detail.
How to build believable trees using simple shapes, without getting lost in drawing every leaf
How to use tone, edges, and Leonardo da Vinci’s 500-year-old branch rules to make trees feel natural and solid.

Put the Theory into Practice – to draw along all you need is a pencil (or charcoal) and an eraser!
Step-by-step demos: An Oak tree, a Cyprus tree and even a Fir tree if there’s time!
