The Parish Council is running a Workshop with an expert Tutor, who will be teaching people how to prune apple and pear trees. We hope that having benefitted from the training, people will be willing to help maintain the trees planted by volunteers across the Parish Council area, and to pass on their newly acquired skills to others.
The course is open to anyone who lives in the Kirkburton Parish Council area and is free of charge, but booking is essential.
If you would like to take part please dress in warm clothing and suitable footwear.
Bring your gardening gloves, secateurs and loppers (if you have them).
You may also want to bring a warm drink along.
Please advise if you have any health issues, or will need extra help during the session.
