The Yorkshire Colourists are a collective of artists living and working in and around the moorland regions of West Yorkshire.
They take their inspiration from landscapes near and far but always seeking out the colour and textures to be found in the rich tapestry of fields, rocky crags, changing light, cloudscapes, mountains, moorlands, rivers and stone walls wherever they may be.
All these elements evoke a variety of vibrant responses from the artists and it is this combination of a common love but five distinctly different approaches that makes this group so exciting with a growing reputation.
