Light up the Woods 2022 is a lantern-lit Woodland Walk through Cliffe Woods, including a firestaff display by the Navigators in the Secret Garden and the voices of the Clayton West Chorus.

It is a firework free event.

Please wear suitable footwear & bring a torch.

The main event is 6.00-8.30pm, with an early bird preview from 4.00pm for those who prefer it quieter with less people.

Refreshments on sale from 6.00pm by the Clayton West WI at the Clayton West Bowling Club (next to the entrance to Cliffe Woods)

There is no car parking available.

We politely request residents who live in Clayton West and Scissett to walk to the event, for those who live in neighbouring villages please come on public transport or drive & park on neighbouring streets & walk to the woods.

Please park considerately.

This event is free to attend.

Donations welcome.

No tickets required.

This event is organised by the Cliffe Woods Conservation Group, Upper Dearne Valley Navigators, Made in Clayton West and a number of local residents.

This will be the fourth such event, the last time it was held was in November 2019.
